Leadership

Christ the only King and Head of the church has graciously given gifts to his people (Eph 4:7-11), including official elders and deacons to care for their spiritual and physical needs (Acts 14:23; Phil 1:1; 1 Tim 3:1-15; 5;17; Heb 13:17; 1 Pet 5:1-4). Our leadership team at Covenant Presbyterian are:

Chris Cousine – Pastor, Church Planting

Chris has been a missionary with the North American Mission Board and a pastor of a Reformed Baptist church for five years. He studied at Canadian Southern Baptist Seminary and Reformed Theological Seminary in Orlando. He lives in the scenic countryside near Cochrane with his wife. They have three grown sons and a dog.

Kevin Schwittai – Elder, Church Planting

Kevin is working on his M.Div., also from Reformed Theological Seminary, also in Orlando. He lives in Cochrane with his wife and son.

Kenton Spratt – Pro Tempore Elder

Kenton is the pastor of Christ Church in Spokane, Washington. He had the privilege of studying under J.I. Packer at Regent College in Vancouver. Originally born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, he immigrated to the United States in 2005, and came to Spokane in 2013. He is married to his wife, Sheryl, of 33 years and has two faithful grown children.
